Upon your arrival, please go to our
reception area so our receptionist may assist you with your first
visit check-in. This should only take a few minutes.
After completing your check-in process, one of our friendly
staff members will escort you to a comfortable room where Dr.
Gladwell will promptly meet you to discuss the orthodontic needs
and options for you or your child.
At this first visit, our objective is to identify the patient’s
long-term treatment needs. You will be taken on a tour
of the new office, and each patient will receive a thorough orthodontic
examination by Dr. Gladwell.
One of three outcomes will be determined:
- Treatment IS recommended now
- Treatment is NOT recommended at all
- Treatment WILL BE NEEDED, but the timing of such will depend
upon close monitoring of growth and development, tooth eruption,
or other factors
We will review all findings in detail with
you and discuss any questions or areas of concern you may have,
such as cost or expected length of treatment. If treatment
is recommended, we will want to take a number of digital photographs,
orthodontic x-rays, and models of the teeth to compliment the
orthodontic exam. Dr. Gladwell will then take time to review
your case specifically, outlining your personalized treatment
options, which he will explain in detail at the following consultation
visit.
At the consultation visit, treatment plans and options will
be presented to you, and your input will be used to formulate
your unique treatment plan. Financing options are also discussed,
and any questions you might have can be answered.
